1900 Census Mancos, Montezuma, Colo, 1240,127 shows living at home of James
& Louisa Rush as a boarder. Shows father born MO, mother NV. Shauna Lewis says that her grandmother (Lillian Teresa) told her that she and the other children were given away by their parents when they were very young, and she doesn't know why.

1900 Census of Mancos, Montezuma, Colorado shows Lillian T. (age 11) and Sarah V. (age 8) Scurlock living at the home of James M. Rush (farmer age 80) and Louisa V. Rush (his wife,age 61).

I, Marie Dean Speakman, remember Georgia very well. She always came to
the Barker Reunions in Liberty Park, Salt Lake City. She would give an update
of all her brothers, sisters, neices, nephews, etc. -- where they were and what
they were doing. She loved them so much and loved to come to the reunions.
Every Christmas, we could count on her Christmas card being first to arrive.
I don't remember the year of her death, but I remember that she had requested
that her body be cremated and the ashes scattered over her father's and
mother's graves at Redmesa, Colorado.

She was so sweet to our children and to all of us. We loved her very much.
