Tom King's Recordings

Many have inquired about how to get these tapes. I really don't know. I would try Jim Martin Productions, Charleston, WV or Augusta Heritage Center, Elkins, WV.

This is Tom's first recording. It includes Old-Time music and some Bluegrassy numbers also. Playing with Tom on this tape are Dave Bing on fiddle, Jim Martin on Bass, Gerry Milnes on fiddle and banjo, Randy Mollohan on jaw harp, and Mark Payne on bluegrass banjo.

Many of the numbers on this tape are multi-instrumental, although Tom plays guitar, banjo, and mandolin without any additional musicians. They are mixed together on the tape. Good job too!

This is my favorite tape of Tom's. Along with Tom are Craig Johnson, playing a very soulful fiddle, and Tracey Rohrbaugh on Mandolin.
